Hi, I’m Kim, the stay at home mom behind SAHM.org. I’m the mother to 2 beautiful daughters Bella and Brooke and have been a SAHM for 7 years.
The reason I started this site is because I noticed something strange in the SAHM community. You see, there is tons of information for moms on saving money by registering for deals, clipping coupons and pinching pennies, but there isn’t a lot for actually doing small jobs to make money.
Having been a finance major in college many moons ago, the problem with this scenario was obvious to me.
I could spend an hour clipping coupons or searching for the best deals and save a few dollars OR I could spend an hour doing an odd job like writing an article, creating a spreadsheet, doing internet research, stuffing envelopes, etc. and make $20 dollars.
As we all know, being a SAHM is a full time job. However, there are periods of down time and if you are like me; I could always use a little extra spending money.
All stay at home moms must use their time wisely; it’s the first thing you learn as a SAHM. And if I’m going to spend a few hours of my precious time, I would rather be paid $20-$50 per hour versus $2-$5 per hour.
So, SAHM.org was born and our mission is to help every mom use their time more wisely and find small jobs that they can do to earn some extra cash.
So, whether you need extra cash for the kiddos or just want to get a “mani-pedi” for yourself, there is an easy, safe and reliable way to EARN that money.
